I know. It’s been, like, forever since I wrote. But last month we had the FCATs, then I had to get ready for finals (which, dear diary, you’ll be pleased to know, I aced all of them) and then there’s the summer job thing.
Mom told me about this kids camp that’s looking for helpers. It’s not far, so I could bike there. I put in an application and, while handing it to the lady in charge, I “accidently” touch her hand. Yes! I will be working at the camp! Sometimes this “seeing stuff” comes in handy.
It’s going to be loads of fun. The kids swim and play tennis and golf and stuff. I kind of panicked when I heard that. I mean, I can play tennis—sort of. But golf? No way. So, before I left, I shook her hand and “saw” they had pros that teach the kids. I’d just have to help keep them in line, which I’m sure I can do. I love working with kids.
Becca leaves for camp next week and Josh has already started his internship so this job can’t start soon enough. Gotta run. Dinner’s ready and I’m starving. I’ll write again soon. I promise!
